Procurement Officer

Job Overview:
AJAXDETECTOR is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to manage our procurement process and ensure the timely and cost-effective purchase of goods and services. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and coordinating procurement activities in line with company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Research and identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and establish strong vendor relationships.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to ensure optimal cost and value.
- Oversee purchase orders, monitor delivery timelines, and ensure goods/services meet quality and quantity specifications.
- Track inventory levels, forecast procurement needs, and maintain stock levels for operational continuity.
- Collaborate with internal teams (production, finance, etc.) to ensure alignment on material and service needs.
- Analyze market trends, and monitor supplier performance to mitigate risks in the supply chain.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, industry standards, and legal regulations.
- Prepare and present procurement reports, cost analyses, and savings initiatives to senior management.
- Resolve any issues related to supply disruptions, late deliveries, or quality concerns.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- Solid understanding of procurement processes, vendor management, and inventory control.
- Experience in negotiating contracts, and knowledge of market dynamics.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Familiarity with procurement regulations and compliance standards.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in the manufacturing or electronics industry is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in fast-paced environments.
- Proficiency in data analysis to forecast trends and make data-driven decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strategic vendor relationships.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and experience in using procurement management tools.
- Turkish Nationality or profissional in Turkish Language.
