**Job Opportunity: Academic Director**

**Almawakeb Schools** is seeking to hire a qualified and experienced **Academic Director** to join our leadership team.

The Academic Director will be responsible for overseeing the academic performance of the school, supervising educational programs, supporting teachers, developing academic plans, and ensuring the highest standards of teaching and learning.

**Requirements:**

* Minimum of **6 years of experience in academic or administrative leadership** within a school environment.
* Strong experience in school management, academic supervision, and curriculum development.
* Proven ability to lead teachers, coordinators, and academic teams.
* Excellent knowledge of educational standards, student assessment, and academic performance improvement.
* Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Ability to prepare academic reports, development plans, and performance evaluations.
* Experience in working with parents, teachers, and school administration professionally.
* Fluency in English ; Arabic and/or Turkish is an advantage.
* Bachelor’s degree in Education, Educational Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.

**Main Responsibilities:**

* Supervise the academic departments and ensure the quality of teaching and learning.
* Monitor students’ academic progress and support improvement plans.
* Evaluate teachers’ performance and provide professional guidance.
* Coordinate curriculum implementation and academic planning.
* Prepare academic reports for the school administration.
* Ensure compliance with school policies and educational standards.
* Support the development of a positive and professional academic environment.
