We are seeking to develop our own custom Asterisk/Freepbx image internally. This involves modifying the kernel for the OS/Asterisk to suit our specific business requirements. We are looking for an experienced individual who is proficient in programming, backend development, Linux, and building software from the ground up. The desired outcome is to create a custom image akin to 'Pbx in flash,' 'Trixbox,' 'Elastix,' and similar platforms.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a VOIP Asterisk FreePBX Developer. The primary responsibility is to construct a tailored Asterisk open source image, resulting in a customized image that aligns with our organization's objectives.

Qualifications

Proficient in Asterisk/Freepbx systems
Experience with Linux and Asterisk Dialplan
Proficiency in Computer Science and Back-End Web Development
Expertise in SIP/IAX protocols
Familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
Ability to design and develop VoIP applications using Asterisk and FreePBX
Previous experience with PBX setup on Linux systems
Understanding of communication protocols and networking principles
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
